"Try"

When it comes to having horse's in our lives, we are all experiencing our very own unique story with them, as they are with us. Sometimes that story can be filled with the highest highs, but sometimes it can also be filled with the lowest low's. The lowest low's may consist of heartache and tears, disappointment, or relentless fear, or even possibly fits of anger, or at the very least some frustration.

For some folks, when these "low's" appear it can be enough to lead them away from a life that includes horses. But for some of us, all we can focus on, is that one day, that feeling we get when all is right in our world with our horses will return. Knowing that even when situations are less than ideal, we will make that decision to "try" one more time, because the thought of not having horses in our life is too unbearable to consider. As Winston Churchill said "There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man".

If you are out there dealing with some challenges in your own personal horsemanship journey and you find yourself at this crossroad, I can relate. I have been there myself.

No one can tell you if what you decide to do is right or wrong for you, as this is your own personal journey to live.

For myself, on this day, under these circumstances, I have decided to "try" one more time.

This was a dark day for me.
This was a dark day for me.
